We use a lot of video (quase 100%) in our course, but we avoid anything that 's from a TV or the movies. The vast majority are just too fast and full of irrelevant vocabulary. If you do want to try a Brazilian movie, make sure you watch like this.
But this clip caught my attention. It's a soft news piece. Except for the intro, it's spoken clearly and not too fast. The vocabulary is really core also. Once you get past the intro it's perfect for training your ear (intermediate-advanced level).

Uma mão, serve de apoio. A outra, limpa o vidro. Braço, perna, metade do corpo dela está do lado de fora do
apartamento.

Definitivamente, a faxineira parece mesmo sem noção do perigo.
Meu Deus! É um risco muito grande que ela corre ali! A gente viu a altura. Se ela despenca dali, eu não quero nem pensar no que acontece. Deus me livre! Não pode, não.
Tem que ter muito cuidado e responsabilidade neste tipo de limpeza.
Arranja outro meio de limpar a janela ou deixa suja mesmo. Mas fazer o que fez alí, não dá né.
Watch this clip 2-3 times. Pause when you get lost, take a breath and move the play head back and listen again. When you get through, watch it once more without the subtitles. The saying here in Brazil is that you are either are a faxineira, or have one!
