dar sorte Deu sorte! That was lucky!
dar conta Ela vai dar conta de tudo. He's going to handle everything.
dar tempo Dá tempo sim. Yes, there is time.
dar licença Dá licença! Excuse me!
dar valor Você não me dá valor You don’t appreciate me.
There’s one other that uses a rarely used conjugation (the subjunctive past tense) BUT that’s used all the time to express a wish or regret about something unlikely or impossible — similar to “I wish” or “if only” in English. It’s spoken as simply “quem dera” but is shorthand for something like this:
quem dera Quem dera eu morasse perto da praia. I wish I lived near the beach.
quem dera Quem dera ele tivesse mais tempo. If only he had more time.
quem dera Quem dera a gente pudesse voltar no tempo. I wish we could go back in time.
