But let’s get into the details. So many people use it incorrectly and you lose respect when you talk ugly.
The most frequent issue is gender. “The best song” >> “A melhor música”

And the masculine version: “The best car” >> “O melhor carro”

How about saying something like, “The best movie of the year was…” -? >> “O melhor filme de ano foi…”

And the plural gets people confused but it’s really simple, “The best new products of the year were…” >> “Os melhores novos produtos do ano foram…”
